Theme
of the tour:
As a core business of the Minamata Eco Town, we encourage bottlers
to reuse washed non-returnable bottles, 90 % of which are thrown
away after use. Defective bottles found in the process of washing
are smashed and recycled as aggregate for civil engineering including
pavement construction. When you visit us you can see the processing
of glass bottles including washing, smashing and glass-work making. |
