We moved into our new facilities in 1997. Our study covers the production technology of young fish and shells, technology aimed at the recovery of marine forests, measures to fight red tides and the prevention of fish diseases. We also work on the development and improvement of fish processing and distribution.

Kumamoto Industrial Exhibition Center Grandmesse Kumamoto Mashikimachi, Kumamoto
This is the largest exhibition hall in the South Kyushu area with a single floor that covers 8,000 square meters. There is also free parking available for 2,200 cars. The exhibition hall can be divided into four and it has wall-mounted sliding seats as well as high-quality soundproofing. Therefore the hall can be used not only for exhibitions but also for kabuki, opera or other events and meetings.

There are six buildings of a wooden structure that were built by utilizing straight laminated timbers made of local cedar timber. When these buildings were built we used traditional methods combined with the latest techniques; e.g. at joints that metal materials were avoided as much as possible.
