The ceramic industry within Nagasaki has approximately a four hundred
year history making Nagasaki one of the main producers in Japan.
The Ceramic Research Center of Nagasaki aims at the development
of regional industries as well as the creation of new business or
industries by carrying out research and development into ceramics
and new materials, conducting collaborative engineering development,
providing engineering consultation and undertaking the cultivation
of human resources.
