Theme
of the tour:
You can see, touch and buy traditional handicrafts such as Higozogan
(gold work), edged tools, ceramics, bamboo bags, Japanese paper
and folk toys. Weekly exhibitions by craftsmen from inside and outside
Kumamoto are held in each exhibition room on the first and second
floors and in a Japanese style room in the basement. Our planning
exhibition is held at the permanent collection exhibition room on
the second floor. You can buy handicrafts that were made within
Kumamoto at the exhibits and sale section back on the first floor. |
