We, by using world-class porcelain stones called Amakusa porcelain stone, make and sell various types of Takahama ware, which is white, thin and clear. You can see those works being made. You can also look around the 190 year-old Japanese style house of the Uedas as well as visit the museum of Takahama ware.

Kumamoto Prefectural Traditional Crafts Center Kumamoto, Kumamoto
You can see, touch and buy traditional handicrafts such as Higozogan (gold work), edged tools, ceramics, bamboo bags, Japanese paper and folk toys. Weekly exhibitions by craftsmen from inside and outside Kumamoto are held in each exhibition room on the first and second floors and in the basement.
